Does life get better?
The Creation of Self Initiative is a framework under development. Its parts are ideas to test, not programs already enacted or funded.
Before a proposal moves forward, it should explain a real problem, evidence for the approach, the lawful role of each level of government, expected cost, privacy and consent protections, and a measure of success. We should publish what failed as well as what worked.

These concepts need detailed policy briefs and independent review. They are an invitation to examine a direction, not a promise of a finished federal program.
The first complete brief should state the population it would serve, what Congress or states would need to authorize, a cost range, privacy limits, the strongest objection, and a measurable outcome.
